Rep Players and Future Development Program (FDP)

I must apologize for missing two Rockets players who made it onto the Southwest Metro Pirates under 12 teams that were not listed originally - this makes 31 Rockets players are player representative basketball in U12. What an amazing achievment

We encourage you to share any special accomplishments your child achieves, as we love celebrating everyone's successes, not just in basketball.

Looking Ahead:

We have exciting plans for the upcoming months, including:

• A movie day coming up soon - Rockets will subsides the costs of tickets

• More skills training sessions - similar to the U12 next week we will be looking at all age groups

• A small tournament in September - this will be against other clubs in other areas

• Trials for our China trip in April next year - will are looking at taking 2 teams to China in April next year

• An upcoming coaches game - this will be at the end of the month and is a great game

• A special event where coaches will attend an NBL One game - we will be contacting all the coaches at the end of next week about this event

• A session with Matt Hodgson for players making the finals to help them prepare mentally

• For next season we will have a grading day with free food and drinks – date not finalised but we are looking at 12July
• Rockets were success in winning the best club in Qld in 2024 and we look forward to defending our title this year, this I believe will be in the first week of December

There's a lot to look forward to in the second half of the year!
