Hi All,

This week is the 7^th week of games so players can no longer play down – 6 game rule. If a player does play down, Rockets get fined $70 and the team loses competition points (not game points scored in the game but competition points).

We have had a few clubs complain and be a little spiteful towards our player and coaches – thanks everyone for not responding. Southwest have made comments how well all our players and coaches react to situations.

Players shooting around at Runcorn when it is not their training time has become a problem. Last week an 8-year-old girl got hit in the face with a ball and her nose did not stop bleeding for 20 minutes. She was distracted by the boys playing which is why she got hit in the face.

There is a suggestion to keep the doors close during each training session to stop people shooting around when they should not be on the courts. We would like the coaches support to remove people from the courts when it is not their training time or people who are waiting for their brother or sister. If we cannot keep people off the courts, we will be closing the doors during each training session & opening the doors a few minutes before each session.
