Hi everyone,

It has been a while since we have been able to do any Basketball so we thought we would do something over the school holidays. Currently we are not allowed to play games until July but training is fine so we will be having some training programs over the holidays.

Below are the days, times and locations when we are running the holiday program, both locations are outdoor courts.

U8 – if you are 7 years old or younger this year – MacGregor State School on Monday & Wednesday 12.30 -2pm (29^th Jun, 1^st July, 6^th July, 8^th July)

U10 – if you are 8 or 9 this year - MacGregor State School on Monday and Wednesday 2.30 pm -4pm (29^th Jun, 1^st July, 6^th July, 8^th July)

U12 - if you are 10 or 11 this year – Runcorn State High School on Monday and Wednesday 9.30am -11.00 am (29^th Jun, 1^st July, 6^th July, 8^th July)

U14 - 12 or 13 this year - Runcorn State High School on Tuesday and Thursday 9am - 10.30am (30^th June, 2^nd July, 7^th July, 9^th July)

U16- are 14 or 15 this year – Runcorn State High School on Tuesday and Thursday 11am -12.30 pm (30^th June, 2^nd July, 7^th July, 9^th July)

U18- if you are 16 or older – Runcorn State High School on Tuesday & Thursday 1 pm - 2.30pm (30^th June, 2^nd July, 7^th July, 9^th July)

Steve Edwards from SouthWest & Sidney Mines in the second week are going to help with supporting the coaches.I have sent an email to all the registered coaches so if you have been missed off or you are able to help at any session please contact me as we do require a lot of coaches for this and it will be a great opportunity to learn some new skills.

Each session will be $10 for each child & if they do all 4 session it will only be $30. Attached is a little more detail about the days.

Someone asked me why we did not make this all free for everyone as we did not play all our games in term 1. The main reason is because not everyone will be available during the school holidays & we have to be fair to everyone.

Just to clarify things - if you have paid your fees for season 1 then in term 3 there is no cost & once we know how many games Southwest have organised for term 4 we can then work out the exact cost for term 4 taking into account the games not played in term 1 and we believe that is fair to all.

We have already have had some registrations for term 3 so if your friends are interested we do have some availability of spots in teams.
