Our newsletter this week does have a bit of information sorry about the length.

Hoodies, jackets and tracksuit

We will still have a Hoodies, Jackets and tracksuits at all the under eights and under 10 training sessions and I will be organising talking with the coordinators to see if they can take these to all training sessions. Please send us an email if you want to try a size on for your son or daughter

New website

Our website now has a new look and hopefully this will make things a bit easier for everyone. There will be a few things that will make communications easier as you will be able to view all previous newsletters and you will see there is a “Latest Update” in the event of rained out venues etc.

This week‘s games

This week‘s games are the last game in the regular season. I am waiting on a response from Southwest Metro to see if all teams can play the first week of the finals; I will have that information hopefully by Sunday.

Training

The Club has hired all the venues for training for the next 2 weeks so if your coach is available you can still have training even if your team has not made the finals.

Registrations.

Something will be coming out about registrations in the next couple of days. We are opening to current members then to anyone else who would like to join. For games you will no longer register with Southwest Metro there will be a new process and it will be called Basketball Connect. It is not up yet but will be prior to the start of the season. There will be no sign on day for season 2, the registration email will have a lot of information for you.

Coaching

For both current coaches and those wanting to know about coaching we will be having a 2 hour session with Deola “our Coaches coach” on how things went for Season 1, and what the club will be doing for season 2 with booklets, support etc

We will send out something about what day, time etc. shortly.
