When you register you will be registereing for 2nd Divison not an age group - We will have to do things in the backend that does not impact anyone but us.

Costs

There may also be different costs to differnt families depending when you originally registered for this year. if you registered before 1st January you would not have paid the Basketball Australa fee so your fee will be about $5.00 more.

I am trying to think of anything that may come up. Hopefully I have covered everything.

Hi all,

there seems to be an issue with the registration process of 2nd Division.

I have contacted SWM to rectify this as I do not want any child to miss out on playing on Saturday. I will keep everyone in the loop.

Hi everyone,

We have been contacted by Southwest Metro and Basketball Qld and no player will be able to play in an age group that is not their correct age group unless they have registered for a “2^nd Division”

There was not such thing as a 2^nd Division for u8 or U10 until this Tuesday so it is very new to us.

2^nd Division is a Hidden Division so players need to use the link below to access 2^nd Division

2^nd division needs to be ticked as an active division but not ticked as public display.

You will need to just go through the process as if you were registering but click on 2^nd division as per the pic – the cost is around $100.

I don't know a lot about it, I just went through it over the phone and asked them to send me this screen shot as this was a bit of a sticking point.

Once you have done this please send us an email as we then have to do work in the back end as it is not as simple as just a normal registeration.
